Rainbow's Kim Jae Kyung is confirmed for the upcoming tvN drama "The Devil Judge"
Namoo Actors confirmed the news that Kim Jae Kyung will participate in the upcoming law drama "The Devil Judge" with other casts, Ji Sung, Kim Min Jung, GOT7's Park Jin Young, Park Gyu Young, and more.
"The Devil Judge" is set to air during the second half of the year, shining over unique ways of handling court cases, where the head judge turns the courtroom into a reality tv show where the whole nation participates to punish evildoers.
The upcoming drama will be the latest masterpiece of director Choi Jung Gyu ("Triangle," "Two Weeks," and more). Meanwhile, the script will be made by Moon Yoo Seok who also wrote for the drama "Miss Hammurabi."
Kim Jae Kyung will take on the role of Oh Jin Joo, an associate judge who gains attention from the media due to her visuals and beautiful speech.
The idol turned actress shared her thoughts on joining the drama, "I am honored to be working with a great list of production. I'm already looking forward to what I will learn on set."
Kim Jae Kyung debuted as an idol with the group Rainbow in 2009. Aside from pursuing idol activities, she also ventured into acting. She's part of the dramas "Inspiring Generation," "God's Quiz Season 4," "My Lovely Girl," "Miracle That We Met," "Bad Papa," and more.
The idol-actress previously appeared in the 2019 drama "The Secret Life of My Secretary" as Veronica Park wherein she was praised for her great acting. "The Devil Judge" will be her first project for 2021.
