Actor Kim Min Kyu will be working with Ahn Hyo Seop in the upcoming drama "The Office Blind Date"
According to the agency Happy Live Entertainment on July 1st, Kim Min Kyu is confirmed to join the upcoming SBS drama "The Office Blind Date." Ahn Hyo Seop will lead the drama and Kim Se Jeong is currently in talks to be the female lead.
"The Office Blind Date" will be based on the webtoon of the same name written by Hae Hwa, the series will be helmed by Park Seon Ho ( "Wok of Love" and "Suspicious Partner”). Meanwhile, the script will be written by Han Sul Hee and Hong Bo Hee.
The upcoming drama will narrate the story of an employee named Shin Ha Ri who ends up becoming her CEO Kang Tae Mu's blind date after faking her friend's identity.
Kim Min Kyu will play the role of Cha Sung Hoon, the chief of staff who assists CEO Kang Tae Mu. Ahn Hyo Seop will play the role of Kang Tae Mu and Kim Se Jeong is reviewing the offer to play as Shin Ha Ri.
"The Office Blind Date" will begin its production in the second half of the year and it will premiere in the first half of 2022.
Kim Min Gyu was part of the recently ended drama "So I Married an Anti-Fan" with main leads Choi Tae Joon, Girls Generation's Choi Soo Young, and 2PM's Hwang Chan Sung. He was also included in the cast of dramas such as "Backstreet Rookie," "Queen: Love And War," "Rich Family's Son," "Because This Is My First Life," "Signal," 'Who Are You: School 2015," and more.
