Kang Tae Oh and Shin Ye Eun received an offer to lead the upcoming KBS drama "The Effect of One Night on Parting"
According to the media outlet, SpotTV News on June 21, Kang Tae Oh and Shin Ye Eun will be the main leads for the new KBS one-act drama titled "The Effect of One Night on Parting." The drama will be the collaboration between of director Koo Sung Joon and writer Kim Mi Kyung.
"The Effect of One Night on Parting" will showcase the romance between a CEO who is not good at expressing love and a middle school health teacher who wanted to be loved.
Kang Tae Oh was given the offer to play the role of Cha Min Jae, the CEO of Min Art. Cha Min Jae is a person who's confident about himself and doesn't envy anyone but he doesn't know how to be loved.
Meanwhile, Shin Ye Eun was offered to play Oh Jin, a middle school health teacher. She was in a relationship but decided to end it after realizing that her partner is not much interested in her.
"The Effect of One Night on Parting" is scheduled to air in the second half of the year.
Kang Tae Oh is currently part of the ongoing drama "Doom at Your Service" with Seo In Guk, Park Bo Young, Lee Soo Hyuk, Shin Do Hyun, and SF9's Dawon. He also starred in dramas such as "Run On," "The Tale of Nokdu," "My First First Love," "Twenty Years Old," and more.
Shin Ye Eun last starred in the 2020 drama "More Than Friends" with Ong Seong Wu, Kim Dong Jun, Block B's P.O, and more. "The Effect of One Night on Parting" will be her first acting project in 2021. The actress is also set to make a special appearance in the upcoming drama "Our Police Course."
