The year is coming to an end and a new one is upon us! However, it seems that Lee Jong Suk's fans get to experience the sweetness of long-awaited endings and fresh-new beginnings before anyone else and that’s due to their (mine too!) beloved star Lee Jon Suk being relieved of his military duties on the morning of December 31st.

The 31-year-old megastar Lee Jong Suk, who had delayed his enlistment for a while due to his filming commitments, officially started his military service on the 9th of March, 2019 and has been serving as a public service officer ever since. The beau actor was deemed unfit to join as an active duty soldier due to an accident he had back when he was 16 years old. Nonetheless, he must have done his best!

The talented and multiple award winner actor has had a fair share of captivating roles in which he stole our breaths (and hearts!) with his magnificent performances. To name a few, he showcased immense talent in such series as School (2013), Doctor Stranger (2014) and Pinocchio (2014)but he is not stopping here! A “break” does not exist in the dictionary of Lee Jon Suk. What's next for the charming actor? Well,  even before being discharged, Lee Jong Suk already had his next role booked! According to Ilgan sports, his first role post enlistment is a guest role in the movie “The Witch: Part II”. He was originally planned to participate in Part I but duty called and he had to pack his bags for the military. However, Lee Jong Suk shares a great relationship with V.I.P director Park Hoon Jung who insisted on having him in the second part of the movie.

Before leaving to serve his country, Lee Jong Suk held his annual fan meeting, but this one was melodramatic as he even cried during it and told the fans not to wait for him, but no one is out of their minds to do so! Lee Jong Suk's fans are very dedicated and have prepared a warm welcoming for the K-drama star. Many of them have prepared online projects and many more will celebrate IRL.

We can’t wait to see Lee Jong Suk again and hear what he has to say about his service!

On a scale of 1-10 [with 10 being the most] how excited are you to see Lee Jong Suk back in action?
