Ji Chang Wook to possibly star in a new drama!
Media outlet Sports Chosun shared on July 8th that Ji Chang Wook will be the main character of the upcoming series "Tell Me Your Wish."
"Tell Me Your Wish" will be directed by Kim Yong Wan and written by Cho Ryeong Soo. It will depict the story of a young man who's severely sick. He runs away from death but he also doesn't have that much will to live. The man has a habit of tattooing whenever his will to live rises. The said drama wants to showcase that one should live happily even for a short time.
Ji Chang Wook got the offer to play the role of Yoon Gyeo Re, who's barely holding on with his life and doesn't have much desire to live.
"Tell Me Your Wish" will reportedly begin filming after finalizing the casting and other production details. No details have been revealed yet regarding the broadcast date and network.
If Ji Chang Wook accepts the drama, this will be his second drama to film this year. He is currently filming the JTBC and Netflix original series "The Sound of Magic" with Hwang In Yeop and Choi Sung Eun. The actor last starred in the 2020 drama "Lovestruck in the City" with Kim Ji Won, Kim Min Seok, So Ju Yeon, Han Ji Eun, and Ryu Kyung Soo.
Ji Chang Wook was also part of the popular film "Hard Hit" with Jo Woo Jin. The movie already garnered more than 800,000 viewers.
Aside from "Tell Me Your Wish" and "The Sound of Magic", Ji Chang Wook will also star in the upcoming Chinese drama "Mr. Right" with Sunny Wang, Andy Zhang, Zhang Ling Zhi, and more.
